I have an english and writing degree. I’ve been tutoring for about ten years. I’m passionate about education and learning. I enjoy seeing my students do well in their academic goals. I think it’s important to have a good repoire with my students,so that they feel comfortable to ask me any questions they need. I currently work at a learning center where I tutor all ages from pre k to high school in reading comprehension, phonics, spelling, grammar, writing, and study skills. I also do U.S. history, government, social studies, and literature. I work with high school students and college students all the previous subjects listed as well as ACT/SATs,essay writing, and essay editing. I also can help students who are applying to colleges with their college admission essays.
I like how tutoring keeps me creative because I get to learn how my students learn then I come up with lessons and techiques that best work with how they learn. Not every student learns the same and it's important to be able to adapt. I think education and learning is so important and I like be able to participate in my students academic successes.

A recent event that I’m fond of is reading to my niece. She’s 10 months and loves when I read to her. I’m trying to teach her to say book as her first word.
