What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first start with going through a current or past assignment with the student. This allows me to understand some of their strengths and weaknesses. While doing so, I am able to get a better grasp on the student's learning style and how to best work and teach them!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have excelled in AP Calculus on high school and went on the minor in math. I have taken a multitude of college level math courses and tutored multitude of my classmates.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching since I was in high school. In high school I taught middle school students privately, as well as worked at Kumon.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from grade 2 to grade 12.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am passionate about Food Allergy advocation and eduction, so I am excited to continue working with state representatives to further food allergy legislation.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Each student is very unique! From the way they learn and figure problems out, to the small passions and things that excite them. It is important to learn more about your student than just the material that is on their homework sheet. This will allow for a deeper level of trust and more advanced learning!

What areas do I want to improve in? What do I struggle with and what do I feel confident in?
