I am a university of Arizona senior studying physics and astronomy. I currently have a 3.48 GPA and I understand how hard math and physics can be. I enjoy Mathematics and Physics because it allows us to understand the nature of the universe and how everything in this universe works. Mathematics and Physics are the key to not only understanding the Universe but also allows us to progress in engineering advancements. Without math and physics, the world would not be how it is today.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I want the student to explain to me what they're struggling with or need help understanding. I then will go through the subject as slowly and as clearly as I possibly can so the student can understand as much as I can help with. Once I go over it with the student, I will have them take over and try completing the problem or explaining to me the subject themselves while I provide guidance. Finally, I will let the student fully take over the problem and complete it by themselves without any input from me until the end so that I can assure that they have the confidence and knowledge to approach the subject with ease.
