I taught Math for 17 years in the private sector. When teaching the concepts I tried to make it interesting and engaging and I invariably would use the KISS approach ... Keep It Simple Sir ... and the best part was my students not only increased their understanding of how to solve Math problems but they also gained a greater self-confidence in their Math skills and abilities. It's amazing what can happen when an adult teacher shows belief in their students while having fun learning the concepts together.
