What is your typical process for working with a new student?
#1 Tell me the subject you need help with.
#2 Tell me if you have any disabilities I need to know about before we start tutoring.
#3 Tell me when you are available to go to tutoring. We can make a schedule based on your actual needs.
#4 Bring your book(s), class assignments, class project instructions, and etc. for the help you are looking for. I will go over in detail with you, what you actually need to complete.
#5 You never have a dumb question about your assignments or work. If you are not certain, you can tell me all the areas you are confused about. We will go over all of them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Paralegal Studies.
I have actual work experience in the working field.
I have actual tutoring experience with children of all ages.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching when I was in my 20's because I would work with children at church and with my family members.
What types of students have you worked with?
K-12th grade. All subjects.
Adults - Adults, depends on if they are needing help with work skills for a certain position.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was a Ministry Teacher for children at Calvary Chapel Tucson, AZ (before COVID-19 occurred). This is a Christian Church. We go over the principle values of how Jesus Christ would treat people and historial events about the Christian Bible.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
"Student, a suggestion would be to meet with a teacher-tutor who is confident about meeting with you on a regular basis for the subject you need assistance with. The teacher-tutor should be confident about teaching the subject to you."
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should go over the following:
1. What area or subject do I really need help with?
2. Do I have any sort of learning disabilities that I know about? If yes, I need to tell my teacher-tutor about them.
3. How much of my time can I dedicate to tutoring?
4. Do I really want to make a positive growth difference in my learning, in my class, and in my progress reports?
