I help students actually understand math as well as other subjects instead of just memorizing steps long enough to survive a quiz. My tutoring is laid-back, personalized, and focused on building confidence, problem-solving skills, and real understanding. I adapt to how each student learns, use quick assessments to target weak spots, and create custom notes, practice problems, and study tools so students improve faster and stress less.

I am an Arizona State Graduate with a Materials Science Degree with a focus on Sustainability. I have tutored through Kumon during high school and independently throughout college. I am teaching a wide berth of subjects from math and science to literature or rhetoric, having taken a dozen of the CollegeBoard AP exams and both the SAT and ACT college entrance tests. Teaching is one of my favorite things in the world; I love patiently working through problems and helping willing (or unwilling) learners understand concepts in their language, on their terms. My methods may seem unconventional, but that's because everyone learns differently, and
