About
My background as an Engineer helps me in teaching maths and science starting from the basics. I like teaching and want to help other kids who need a helping hand. I'm blessed with loads of patience & a calm temperament which is very useful for this profession.
Seeing a kid's face light up as they figure out the solution. Maths & science should be fun, not something to be scared about.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Find out their strengths and weaknesses, prepare a plan to improve on the subject, set targets and revise goals regularly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Electrical Engineer & MBA, been teaching school kids from Middle to High School
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
No standard system, I am flexible. Money should not be a hindrance for anyone. I want to help needy students and will work as per their capacity for payment.
How did you get started teaching?
When I was in college my dad's friend asked me to coach his daughter in maths as she had failed in the subject. That was my first stab at teaching someone. When my sons started going to school here in the US I have been teaching them in a regular basis & decided to see if I could expand my services to others in need.
What types of students have you worked with?
Middle and High school, college (freshman year)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The very first student I taught - she got 75% in her maths final exams after failing in it earlier, the gratitude in her eyes & the confidence she regained in herself were really amazing.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A teacher should make you feel that nothing in this world is impossible. Yes, initially it may feel like a mountain but with slow and steady work the peak can be climbed.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
It should be how to improve themselves and learn - not a short term goal of passing 1 test or 1 exam.
