Writing Helper

I have worked with a variety of students on writing planning, organization, and revisions. I try to make sure the overall tutoring process matches the student's personality, learning needs, background, and environment. I believe learning is easiest when one feels comfortable and knows the tutor values each suggestion and question.

As a writing tutor, I always look forward to hearing others' ideas and learning about their thinking process. Trying to organize the flow of ideas you may have for a paper or short essay (or even emails!) can be tricky. I know the struggle so I enjoy every opportunity I get to work with someone on streamlining their thoughts and just improving writing skills in general!

For math, it is also a game of strategy. The best part about helping students really understand math problems is being able to see how their approach to problem-solving starts shifting!
