About

I reach my students right where they’re at and go from there. I incorporate engaging activities that enhance understanding and retention.

I love seeing understanding on my students faces when they ‘get it’. I love math!

I’m a retired middle school math teacher with a current license. I have my math endorsement to teach self contained math classes. I earned my Districts Hero Award in Teaching in 2012

I have taught at an Arts Acedemy, and taught students who are gifted, as well as sponsored National Elementary Honor Students. I was sponsor for our school districts Math Competition with grades 4 thro 8.

When I have an idea where they are I’ll pull out the standards and we’ll work from there.

I’m a certified mathematics teacher with a mathematics endorsement. I have taught math to middle schoolers for 13 years.

I love teaching math.

My pricing system is a standard $40 per one hour session.

I felt it was a calling, I was always helping my younger siblings.  So I decided I’d like to learn how to teach professionally.  I excelled in math so it was a natural major to earn.

I have worked with a variety of students with various skill levels. I always find out what level they are at and teach accordingly.

I was invited to a sports event by two of my tutoring kiddos. Their skill was amazing and I was introduced to their other teacher.

Find someone you like and think you’ll get along with. You’ve got to feel comfortable with them so you can work side by side.

In math, it’s all about where you were stuck. The problem must have been attempted first so you can determine what you don’t know. If you are at a loss where to start that’s what you should state.
