I am a certified secondary teacher. I have been teaching for 11 years and tutoring for 8. I have many years experience for tutoring for math, reading and writing. I can tutor up through algebra. I have many years experience teaching math and can help you find your gaps and have more confidence in learning math. For writing, I can help you learn to edit your essays and be more concise in your writing. I can teach you how to have better reading comprehension by learning how to annotate. My rate is $30 to $60 per session depending on grade level and content. Let me know when you want to meet up online or in person and we can get started.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first meet with a student I like to assess their gaps in their learning by reviewing and seeing what they know and what they still need to learn. I like to work with the student with their school's curriculum to keep them on track with what they are learning. If more practice is needed I will use other resources.
