Kira Fredrickson

I am a mathematician and artist. I like to find the beauty in math and share that passion with my students!

I encourage free thought, critical thinking, independent discovery, and creativity in my students.

I taught high school mathematics (algebra 1 and 2, geometry, and applied math), business entrepreneurship, and life skills while working in the teaching field at a charter school in Arizona. My specialty is in geometry (specifically proof writing), the subject I studied most extensively in university.

I am also a life long artist which gives me an edge; I can explain mathematical concepts in many ways, through multiple disciplines, and throughly from beginning to end. I have the knowledge and expertise of my field and I enjoy sharing that with students. *I am an expert crocheter and offer lessons in crochet as well.
