Dylan was a great help in my college algebra course. He may be younger than me, but he helped more than my professor did all semester. He had a very flexible schedule and knew how to answer all of my questions :)

Frequently asked questions

The first objective with a new student is to establish the problem they are experiencing if any.  Then the problem should be solved effectively and quickly.  Once any problems are solved a student can learn how to improve and truly excel.

I worked at Kumon, a tutoring company for 9 months.  The learning centers Kumon has are focused on reading and math and the improvement of already excelling students most from the ages 5-13.  I also have many volunteer hours for my school and National Honors Society that include tutoring other homeschoolers.

Around $15 per hour (negotiable).

My formal teaching stared working at Kumon Learning Center.  At Kumon, I worked with children most aged 5-13  teaching math and English.

In addition, I have always been teaching since I started school. As a high achieving student, I was often asked for help in class.  I also have a young brother that I try to each as much as possible from my mistakes.

Ages 5-18; I have also worked with a couple of students that have Autism, however, this is not my expertise.

I advise students to try to find a tutor they will be able to get along with.  A tutor should be more like a friend than a rule-enforcing teacher.
