Mr. Math Tutoring

I am currently employed as an Electrical Engineer and I am also a Texas certified former 6th, 7th and 8th grade math teacher and I have significant experience in helping student of all levels become proficient in mathematics. I have 5 years experience teaching mathematics in Texas including content in grades 9 to college level course. I taught intervention math courses that helped struggling students pass their Texas STAAR Exams and also taught advanced 6th, 7th and 8th grade math courses. My State formative Testing success rate for typical students were 95%-100% and success rate for intervention students was 82%-90%. My teaching style consist of breaking down math concepts and problems to a level the student is able to understand. I also teach and focus on testing strategies that help students understand and break down state formative testing problems such as those found in STAAR.

Because I have experience working in a classroom setting with students across the learning spectrum, I am able to understand the students' learning abilities and challenges and tailor learning strategies according to the students learning style and speed.
