I am a current high school student with high standardized testing scores, can teach K-12 math topics, will personalize lessons to meet each learner's needs. Can teach online or in-person in the Glendale, AZ. I have experience being on math teams and attending competitions as well as having high test scores on PSAT, AP, and AzM2 (formerly AzMerit) exams, (99th percentile on both listed standardized tests and a 5/5 on the AP test). In addition, I have experiences in both teaching others mathematical concepts and learning them from tutors, which will enable me to effectively teach based on my familiarity with the task. I will gauge initial familiarity with relevant topics via directly asking about strong and weak points as well as giving problems to assess skill levels. From there, I will create a plan to reinforce weaker skills and provide any additional practice necessary for stronger skills that is specific to each student's needs. I can tailor my teaching pace to the situations of students, as I can give both brief, concise cram lessons as well as in-depth, meticulous lessons depending on each learner's circumstances as they change.
