About
My teaching method is very concept- and example-based. The goal is to understand the core concepts and be able to build knowledge from them. We will use easy examples to explain the core concepts of each lesson. Once they are clear, we will move on to more challenging problems.
For students who have a good understanding of the material but need help with the applications, I can also accommodate a purely problem-based style of tutoring.
I like to keep the tone of the class casual and friendly so students feel comfortable asking any questions.
I like making evident that a huge part of student's struggle is simply bad teachers. I enjoy the moment when student's realize that they can actually succeed in a given course. Finally, it is great to see how student's grades and understanding improves thanks to my help and their hard work.
