I love working one-on-one with students and helping them find a way to make sense of math. I believe that anyone can succeed at math if their instructor can find the right way to teach them. I have been tutoring students in math since I was a teenager and have a degree in math education from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have worked with students in private homes, academic settings, and online.

Ms. Lisa was my 9th grade algebra and geometry tutor.
Math can be a very challenging for some people and I was one of them, but Ms. Lisa always took her time in teaching me step by step on solving problems. She would also notice right away when I still wouldnt understand some of the problems so she would ask me Point out where you dont understand and after i would Ms. Lisa would find a creative way for me to understand. I always felt comfortable running to Ms. Lisa for help, never did I felt dumb or ashamed in not knowing or understanding math.
