Hello! Welcome to my services. I have taught for over 20 years and have a passion to help students gain excellence in their academics by increasing confidence, teaching specific learning and brain building strategies. My goal is to help students discover thier learning potential and strength. I approach each lesson and session with thier learning style in mind. I am dedicated to my students and also have the pleasure of training teachers across the country. I have always enjoyed working with children. I dreamed of teaching since I was a young girl. I love seeing students gain confidence in themselves and especially love to see each student find joy in learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The most important thing for me to do with a new student is to establish a comfortable setting and learning platform so that the student will feel accepted and confident. I explain thier potential and how I will help them gain the skills needed to meet thier academic goals. This can be established with young learners from age 4 all the way to adult learners.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two Master degrees in Education (Elementary Education and Curriculum and Instruction). I have worked with childeren for 25 years. I tutor students online and in their homes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing varies from the needs and academic goals of each family that I work with. If your needs are met short term (5 lessons or less) the price for each session is $60/hour and are paid in full by the first lesson. If your student needs long term (Spanish or English language lessons) my pricing is $50/lesson and are paid monthly.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after a life long dream of wanting to be an educator. I come from a family of educators. It truly is my passion and I feel honored and blessed that I get to work in something that I love.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students ranging in ages 4 to adult). I have worked with students that need help with reading and learning Spanish or English. I also help with writing and comprehension strategies.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My son was married a year ago. I was very proud to see him his new life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that you connect with. You learn much better and faster when you enjoy your lessons and understand why you need specific strategies to your learning. You need to find a teacher that has your best interest during each class.
