Ismail's English Tutoring
About
One thing that I find true satisfaction in, is when students are able to take something from the class that they themselves can apply to their lives. Because it isn't just about learning, but applying. In the end, Shakespeare and other literature isn't just used to learn from, but to apply concepts into the reality of human life.
Helping students learn about a subject that many, including myself in the past, had difficulty in learning.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first assess where their level is on a spectrum. What do I specifically need to do for their learning level?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with students in the past in terms of an Arts Center, I have had also had experience of presentation and information of several topics.
How did you get started teaching?
I started very young, I was a student myself, and had joined an Arts Center as a teacher aide, where I got my first experience of being a sort of Assistant Teacher. But I am now trying to formally teach to students on an online platform.
What types of students have you worked with?
Young children and young adults (children aging 10-14)
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be sure in what you want to achieve by having a tutor, once you are sure, the process becomes easier in finding someone to help you achieve that.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is their need something that can be solved on their own? Is a part of the need solvable on their own, but the rest of it needs help with working through it? Is this teacher the one who can help support me with fulfilling my need?
