Elementary And Middle School Tutoring
About
I'm a high school senior who has been tutoring elementary aged students since I was in eigth grade and also one 7th grader my junior year. I love children and I love learning so it brings me immense joy to bring the two together. I have a 3.56 unweighted GPA and 4.4 weighted GPA with a course load of all AP and Dual credit with the exception of my electives. I hope I can be your child's next tutor!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first session will just be to see where the student is at, I do this by working through some problems with them that are of different difficulty levels in order to see where their strengths and weaknesses are. From there I will start to focus on their weaker areas while still incorparting some work that they have already mastered in order to assure that they don't lose those skills.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For kinder and preschool aged children $20/ hour and for first grade through eigth grade $30/ hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring because my uncle is a teacher and I lived with him up until this year. He would take me to his school with him and one day a student asked me for help so I began to tutor some of the students at his school in eigth grade.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with mostly elementary aged students and one seventh grader.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I'm fond of is applying to my first two colleges! 11 more applications to go !
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell them that it's okay not to understand the first day and that if they work hard and do what I teach them they will eventually not just understand but excel.
