DK Math Tutoring
About
I am a 57 year old former teacher who still loves working with young students who struggle with math. I have been a tutor since 2020 when I left public education to work with individual students who want to improve their grade but find themselves always behind the curve. Confidence in young students often is the key to success when I work with your student. I enjoy building trust and am committed to improving your childs ability to succeed in the math classroom.
I have a Bachelors Degree in elementary education as well as certifications to teach both middle school math and science. Although I loved teaching all students while in the classroom, my passion is working with students who struggle at times with certain math concepts. I am always rewarded when the "Light comes on" and they find the confidence to perform successfully in the classroom with theur peers.
I do not use social media to promote myself so please reach out to me directly through the site to ask any questions you may have.
Thank you.
