Mia Rutherford

Hi! My name is Mia, and I’m currently a 20-year-old student at Grand Canyon University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer in third-grade classrooms for two school semesters, and those experiences have only deepened my passion for helping kids grow into the brightest version of themselves.

While I’m just getting started with tutoring, I’m confident in my ability to support your child’s learning needs with patience, creativity, and encouragement. I’ve spent the past few years babysitting and teaching dance to students ages 6–14, which has taught me how to connect with kids, explain things clearly, and make learning fun.

This summer, I’m excited to grow as a tutor while helping your child feel supported and successful. I’d love to be a small part of their journey toward confidence and academic growth!
