About
I can tutor math courses from basic math to pre-calculus. I enjoy teaching math to others. I have taken and passed all math courses up to pre-calculus with high grades. (Also if you are not sure if you want me to tutor you, I can charge you only $10 for the first 20 minutes and if you like it we can go back to my regular rate)
I really love math and science. They are very interesting to me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask the student the topics they need most help inand try to focus on those topics. I will give them practice quizzes and questions to test themselves because testing oneself is one of the most efficient ways to master a topic in math. I will make study guides with students for them to keep handy. I also try to make it fun and interesting so that they enjoy learning the subject.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always helped my classmates in school with any questions on missed questions. I went through each part of the question and made sure it made sense. I also peer tutored at school before.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I like to be flexible with pricing. I can negotiate with the price that works for you but I am willing to charge $25-30 per hour and $15 for half an hour. Please contact me if these prices do not work for you.
How did you get started teaching?
I started with helping my peers.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages from elementary to high school students
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you want to master a subject/topic you MUST practice it over and over. I know practice makes perfect is known as a stereotype but it really does help because science shows that the process of relearning and overlearning is so beneficial in mastering a subject in the long-run and it makes it easier to remember and recall it later. It also helps make you less stressed which is a big plus for students!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should not say they do not understand this whole area, they must break it down so that the teacher/tutor knows what their specific needs are.
