Math And Science Tutoring (STEM Graduate)
About
My passion is in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) research. Currently, I am available for tutoring opportunities for high school and college students. My specialty is in College Algebra, Calculus I & II, GRE prep, biology, ecology, physiology, electrical circuits. However, I am able to provide homework assistance and tutoring to other science and math courses. I am always available 24/7 for students.
I always enjoy helping others and whenever I do, I treat those in need as a friend who is willing to help.
I graduated with a B.S. in biomedical engineering. As of now, I have published a journal and an orthopaedic abstract at profound biomedical/science publications. For more information about my skill sets, check out my linkedin page (https://www.linkedin.com/in/samuel-kim-a0b641148).
If you would like to request a meeting with me, please text me or email me after requesting. This way would bypass the system and let me contact you faster.
My passion for Biomedical Engineering allows me to apply coursework into research studies and help others who are having trouble with academic content.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Whenever working with a new student, I first treat them like a close friend that needs help. Before starting, I ask them a series of questions and take a short practice quiz that shows where the student's strengths and weaknesses. Also, I would take a look at the student's previous quizzes/exams from their professors so that I understand the professor's exam style.
During each tutor session, I make sure each student is not stressed and each student's attention is focused on the session by making everything fun and coherent. For each of their weaknesses, I teach them the basics first then increase level of difficulty. Also, I help review other mathematical skills on a regular basis. Every week, I would quiz students what they learned by preparing quiz materials that they would see on their college or high school exams.
