What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A phone interveiw to discuss needs and schdeule.
If both parties feel confident about moving forward we would schedule a first session. During this session, we would explore the students current levels in skills and understanding.
From that point forward each session will focus on the next learning step to ensure that the student progresses and is not frustrated. The overall goal is to steadly increase achievement through a process of filling gaps in current skills and extending a students learning.
