About
The best part of being a tutor is to see my students understand a concept and being able to apply it to solve other questions. That is what makes this job exciting.I work with my students understanding where they are at the moment and what they want to achieve and making plans on how to reach their goals.Lets say you have a question that you dont know how to do it,with me we shall discuss the possible ways to do the question and get the right answer and how you can apply the same formula to solve other questions.Having done this for two years I am confident in my ability to help my students achieve what they want either it's a better grade in the next exam or test or better understand a concept they have been taught.
I am a university student taking aeronautics and I have A in my Maths courses so I know I am very qualified in what I do.I hope you can give me the opportunity to help you get where you want to reach

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I would like to know what he/she wants help in.For example help in finishing homework or understanding a concept. Then we discuss what he/she knows or what they understand. At times it's just fear that they maybe wrong but they are correct and just want the verification,Or some it's not understanding the concept completely hence I take time explaining using relatable examples until we are confident that they have understood everything and they have reached their set goals
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a university student taking aeronautics so I do Maths all the time.I am also a tutor in Chegg so all that qualify me for the job
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My starting price is 10dollars an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring from when I was in high school.I have always enjoyed tutoring and in 2019 I decided to start my own tutoring company to help fill my time now that I was in university
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a large range of students from middle school to high school to sometimes college students in the first year taking Maths module
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I remember a student of mine who was always afraid of Maths. They found it hard to understand and saw the formulas really hard.Helping her to be comfortable with the formula and helping her boost her confidence in Maths gave so much joy. After explaining the concepts she would try one question and when she would get it right the happiness in her face was everything.I would continue to push her to try harder questions and when she got stuck I would help her and explain where she got wrong and she tried to understand. It took a long time and much effort from both sides but at the end on her final high school exam she got a B in Maths and that gave me so much happiness that all the effort brought good results and the fear of Maths was no longer there.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise students to look for a teacher who wants to help them grow and be able to fly on their own
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do you want to achieve.Do you just want help to finish that particular homework or just to pass an exam or to understand a formula or concept fully.Let the teacher know what you want exactly so that he/she can help you achieve it
