I am a recent college graduate who loves learning and helping others learn. I graduated from The University of Central Arkansas in May of 2018 with a BA in Finance. I currently work as a Manager at a local retail financial institution. I have worked in retail banking for almost 5 years now. In that time, I have spent a lot of time mentoring and training new associates. Through mentoring and training is where I discovered a passion for helping others learn. While I have no formal tutoring experience, I excel in explaining concepts and skills in a very effective manor. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I believe it is important to get to know the student before I am able to identify the best method to teach in order to be efecient and effective.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated cum laude from UCA in May of 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in finance. Through my work experience in retail banking, I have mentored and trained many new associates. I found a passion for teaching through the experience of training and mentoring.

$20/hour or $25 if the session is less than an hour
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher with passion. Someone who really wants his/her student to understand and learn a particular subject rather than just memorize terms or concepts for an upcoming exam.
