I am currently employed as an instructor at a Mathnasium Learning Center, so I have ample experience in tutoring K-12 students as well as some experience in tutoring college students up to calculus. I have experience working with the LEAP education program tutoring elementary-aged students, and as a member of the national Mu Alpha Theta organization, I have experience tutoring high school-aged students.
I am also a student at the University of Alabama pursuing a degree in Mathematics with aspirations of becoming a math professor.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently pursuing a degree in mathematics and am an experienced instructor at a Mathnasium Learning Center. Through this position I have completed required training to ensure my capability in teaching students and have been successful with our students as well as with students in private sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
I started working with elementary school-aged students while I was still in high school, spending my summers volunteering at my local elementary school. Then, later in my high school career, I joined the Mu Alpha Theta organization and tutored high school-aged students after school. Since graduating high school, I have started tutoring both privately and at a Mathnasium Learning Center while pursuing my degree in Mathematics.
What types of students have you worked with?
My typical students are aged k-12, though I have some experience tutoring at the college level up to calculus.
