What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First get to know the student. Inquire their learning methods and implement into the tutoring session. Find out what their are lacking or what exactly the student needs help with. Learn the students struggles and help them get caught up to speed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
5 years of tutoring experience. I have tutored grade levels 5-12 while in college. I also tutored college students on campus.
How did you get started teaching?
I started as a Big Brother tutoring a fifth grade student. I fell in love with helping students and began to tutor middle, high, and college students.
