What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with new students, I take note of their academic strengths and focus on helping them improve their weaknesses. Establishing a strong academic writing structure is key to success in English (and most other subjects).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an academic writing and English tutor at Marion Military Institue from AY 2018-2019. 100% of my tutored students saw improvements in their GPA and academic writing capabilities (most immediately). I also received the highest in class academic GPA in English and Psychology.

Standard pricing is lower than the average price for other tutors nationwide. I charge a standard fee of $36.00/hr for an academic tutoring session.
How did you get started teaching?
I became an academic writing tutor after recommendations from several professors based on my writing history at Marion Military Institute during AY 2018-2019.

I have worked with a variety of students to include sports students, military students, english students, history students, criminal justice students, and psychology students.
