I am currently working as an editor, but I have a long history of tutoring and would now like to work with a couple of students at a time. I have tutored a wide variety, ranging from early elementary reading to a multi-discipline personal tutor for a royal family at the university level. Additionally, I have taught history and international relations at several universities. My degrees and studies include social sciences, history, public policy, business administration, and medieval Islamic historiography.
I truly enjoy helping people improve their grammar and writing skills. Frequently I use daily experiences to help clients understand the importance of grammar.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I like to start by assessing the student's current level and their engagement with the subject. That assessment helps me to better teach the student, such as deciding if additional materials are needed, or if we need to build a more solid foundation before proceeding.
