Spencer Haynes Multi-Subject Tutoring

I started helping my younger sister with math in 2013 when I was 16. It was at that time that I realized two things. 1) Students need additional help outside the classroom, and that’s no fault of the student. The material can be difficult! 2) I enjoy helping people understand challenging concepts. I love seeing a student’s face when he or she understands a problem for the first time!

I graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics and a Minor in Religious Studies. That being said, I’ve had many experiences solving math problems and writing essays. I’ve also studied Spanish extensively in college and am comfortable tutoring that subject. Furthermore, I have taken both the ACT and SAT, and I know what it takes to excel on those tests!

Since 2014, I’ve tutored in Math, English, History, Economics, Spanish, and the ACT. I’m not afraid to put in the work to help students achieve their goals!
