About
Hi!
My name is Briel, but you can call me Ms. B. I attended Troy University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in General Biology. I discovered my affinity for tutoring math, however, while volunteering at the Christian Love Center during my college career. It was there that I also recognized my capabilities in helping students. I come from two families in which the majority are educators, so it's only right!
Helping children turn self-doubt into self-confidence is fulfilling for me.
Patience and versatility are at the center of my teaching style, and they've proven pertinent in adapting to every child's learning needs. Having a tutor/teacher who will adapt to the student's needs for however long it takes to get there is powerful.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get an idea of fundamental understanding of the subject from the student before we begin. I typically use the first session for this initial consultation. Once I have a good idea of the student's style of learning and a good starting point to build from, I can adjust accordingly.
