About
I have had the honor of tutoring students from middle school to high school throughout college, starting in 2021. After graduating from Pellissippi State Community College in Spring 2023, I am now on the path to completing my Mathematics degree and teacher certification at The University of Alabama at Birmingham by the fall of 2025.
What truly ignites my passion for tutoring is witnessing the remarkable growth and accomplishments of my students. Having faced my own academic challenges in the past, I understand the value of patient, tailored instruction. As someone who faced challenges because of my inability to excel at the pace of my peers, I make it a point to slow down and adapt my teaching style to cater to each student's unique learning pace and preferences. This approach stems from my belief that every child deserves an opportunity to excel, regardless of how they absorb information.
What sets my tutoring services apart is my genuine empathy and ability to connect with students. Having struggled with Dyslexia and ADHD, I have honed specialized methods to accommodate and embrace different learning styles. Through my personal journey, I've learned to harness my strengths and adjust my study techniques, making me adept at guiding students with similar challenges. By sharing my story and offering practical strategies, I create an inclusive and understanding learning environment that fosters growth, confidence, and academic success.
My tutoring revolves around personalized learning, patience, and the unwavering belief in every student's potential. My journey from being a determined learner to a dedicated educator equips me with the empathy, skills, and insights needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I teach.
