I am currently a Clinical Anatomy Lab Teaching Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I excel in most math and science courses, and I want to help other students excel as well! I am a very patient person who has the ability to explain a given topic in a number of ways, and this helps with accommodating the learning styles of students. I am a Biomedical Sciences major on the PreMed track and I am in the Honors College.
I love helping people get that "aha" feeling when something finally clicks, but even more, I love the pride they feel when they finally understand a concept or do well on a test.

I like to see what they are covering in class (notes, homework, tests, etc.) to better grasp what they need. I then ask a few questions to better understand their individual learning style. Then we will work through problems to enforce repetition. After we work through problems I will have them work some on their own to ensure they understand the topic!

I typically charge $15-$25 an hour depending on the course. Harder courses will be on the upper end of this scale, whereas basic courses will be on the lower end.
I initially started teaching when I was a coach at a local gymnastics studio in my home town, after this, I progressed to helping friends and family with their schooling. I then became a Teaching Assistant, and now I want to offer my help to children all over the country.
