About
I am a student at Auburn University majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering and pursuing a minor in Computer Science. I was a Supplemental Instruction (SI) leader for 3 years, teaching Calculus II. With that, I have a vast knowledge of the concepts of Calculus and have old tests, reviews and worksheets. I am very comfortable teaching and discussing various mathematical topics. Since I've taken and taught these classes, I understand how challenging they can be. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I will start off by getting to know you. When this is done, I can get a better understanding of how you learn and how I can best teach you. Next, I will have a list of practice problems that I have pulled from previous tests, reviews and book problems. We will go through those step by step to build confidence and knowledge. I will wrap up by reviewing any concepts that were unclear.
