About
Sarah's maths tutoring is a unique and different service, I offer cheap prices for helping your children from K-9 , and I stick with them until they understand what they're doing.
I love seeing the success of students after using my service. Hearing from their parents that they've been imporving is a really nice thing to hear and I'm hoping to hear more of it soon!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'll ask for your weaknesses and anything you don't understand, I'll ask you to tell me what you need help with, such as general improvement or homework, and I'll either have set questions for you, or you can give me questions that you need help with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently, I'm doing a University course.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I tutor Kindergarten to year 9.
Prices:
kindy: $12/hour
Year 1-3 : $20/hour
Year 4-6: $25/hour
Year 7-9: $30/hour
How did you get started teaching?
I found out that it was something I enjoy when i was helping my younger sister with her homework. It was also something I enjoyed back in school.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types from grades K-9. Mostly students who need help with their homework, but a lot of students come to me for test revison or general help.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I tutored a year 7 student, 3 times a week, 2 hours per session for 3 weeks and she recieved a 100% on her test. I hope that students who use my services continue to suceed.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I'd reccomend looking for teachers that teach the subject that you specifically need help with. For example if you're weak in algebra, find someone who specifies in that subject. In my case, I have studied most mathematics courses, so I can help you out with anything.
