Hello from the Geeky Gal!
I am a mathematician with a passion for helping people learn about the subject that gives a lot of us the urge to eat a whole pint of ice cream in one sitting and watch Netflix instead of tackling problems 1-8 that you and I both know are due in about 14 hours.
My service stands out because I do so much more then tutoring. Every student is unique, and there is no one solution that can be applied to each one. My goal is to find out exactly what each one needs and to work with them to acheive their goals.
Whether you are looking for homework help, test preparation, or just a different perspective on the mat

I love tutoring!!! Math can be fun and my mission is to help kids who hate math come to love it!
I have tutored for college students and middle and high school.
The goal is to help students understand how to read and apply thier notes from class as well as their textbook, so in the future they have to tools to help them never freak out over a math assignment again!
I used to hate math! All through grade school I hated math, I would stay up nights crying over my assignments in middle and highschool, once in college I started learning how to really study and now I love math and I love teaching.

I am a certified teacher in elementary subjects (math, science, language arts, social studies, K-6). I am also certified to teach Spanish K-12, and ESL K-12.
I am currently looking for tutoring jobs during the summer, as I will return to teaching in August. However, I would be willing to continue tutoring when the school year starts again depending on needed schedule.
I have several years of teac

I have been tutoring and mentoring middle and high school as well as college students for over 10 years, both as a private tutor for academic subjects as well as an employee of an SAT prep company. I am returning to California after a pause in my recent PhD work, and will be resuming active tutoring after a hiatus. I spent 2018-2019 abroad in London where I earned my MSc as a Fulbright alternate. I will be available during the chaotic college application season, and am keen to assist students (and parents!) looking to navigate the SAT, ACT, college selection and application process. I am also available for individual subject tutoring, primari
