Hi, my name is Brynn and I'm an English tutor/teacher with B2 Chinese skills! I spent the last year teaching at an international high school in China, and that followed my experience getting my BA in English Language & Linguistics (with a TESOL certificate). I'm passionate about language and learning, and positive that I can assist any student who wants to increase their English skill level - using whatever methods work best for them!

I am a speech language pathologist, and that therapeutic perspective is infused in all my services. I offer services in executive function therapy, and reading & spelling using Structured Word Inquiry. I also teach basic writing skills, including grammar, as well as the multiplication tables, using the Making Math Real method. New clients accepted on an ongoing basis, as space permits. Services are offered in person in Madison, WI and online in the state of WI.

I love to see a sense of satisfaction in my student's eyes when they realize they have learned something valuable. I have taught most of my life, including when I was the oldest child in our family helping my younger siblings with their homwork. Otherwise I have been teaching both undergraduate and graduate students since the early 1980s at 5 different universities.
