My experience from more than 30 years has helped me learn how to MIX. I mix the serious teaching/learning of the one-to-one session with games that review previous learning that has comes close to mastery! Also we have fun -- Just the right amount of fun! to keep up the pace! My sessions with students are rich with positive results! The one-to-one setting provides a great "back drop" for maximum growth for the student!

I am a speech language pathologist, and that therapeutic perspective is infused in all my services. I offer services in executive function therapy, and reading & spelling using Structured Word Inquiry. I also teach basic writing skills, including grammar, as well as the multiplication tables, using the Making Math Real method. New clients accepted on an ongoing basis, as space permits. Services are offered in person in Madison, WI and online in the state of WI.

I'm graduating from UW-Madison this spring 2024 with a BA in English and two certificates: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and Social Justice and Education. I'd love to offer individualized conversational or formal English patterns, structures and concepts! I am a credentialed teacher and have 7 years of teaching experience including: classroom teaching for secondary English, one-on-one teaching for homeschooled students, teaching students that have individualized learning plans, and in-person and online tutoring.

I complete undergrad in 2022 graduating with two bachelor's degrees. My first degree is in psychology and my second degree is in criminal justice. I am also a nationally certified pharmacy technician as well as a board certified substance abuse counselor. I am currently in graduate school working to complete a masters in criminal justice. I have many resources and a vast plethora of tools and skills to help others learn.
