I have a Master of Arts in Teaching, a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Arts in Peychology and am an avid history buff and writer. Hi there....I am a graduate of Bastyr University with a degree in Applied Behavioral Science. I spent 6 years as a counselor serving families, women in transition, and kids . I've worked in Schools as a Speech Therapist having trained in that profession at Oregon State University. I also have worked as a private tutor to kids needing a boost. It is truly a pleasure to see them succeed. Currently I teach ESL to kids online. What a priceless connection that is! My style tends to be a combination of fun and focus. I chalk out the plan specific to each individual & work with them to achieve it. I’m a Cal Poly student majoring in mechanical engineering with a math minor, and math has always been a big part of my life. I really enjoy solving math problems and find satisfaction in breaking down complex concepts. One of my favorite things is working with kids on math problems, helping them understand and appreciate the subject as much as I do.
