Hi, my name is Rita and I have been enjoying tutoring for many years. I have and continue tutoring K-12 students in subjects like math, reading, writing, science, SAT, test preparations etc. I take teaching as a challenge and will find different ways to teach until the student understands it, because we all learn differently and I don't believe in one teaching method fits all. I have worked with students with different needs like getting ahead in grade level, with IEPs, short term or long term. I will go above and beyond in helping students reach their immediate and/or long term goals with the parent/guardian input and work closely with them.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Washington, Masters in Elementary Teaching Program. I am certified to teach all subjects K-8 with an endorsement in ELL teaching. I am fluent in Spanish and spent my student teaching in dual-language schools teaching K and 4th grade. I have also been helping middle school aged students (6th-8th) in their academic schoolwork.
