What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we will get you a book and pretest you to see where you need the most help. Find your best study times. Then work on a weekly schedule to get you to pass your test or achieve your highest scores.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Science degree and I am a Certified Medical Assistant.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have an initial charge of $15 for a 15 minute orientation and then it is $25 per lesson hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching my children's friends in highschool.

Many different types of students with varied ages and goals.

Tutoring a Medical student with Terminology. It was lots of fun to review the root words,prefixes and suffixes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It should always be your priority to make yourself clear and precise as to what you are having difficulty learning and what you need to know.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students need to have a life, work balance that makes time for school and studying as well.
