About this tutor

I create YouTube playlists of concepts and provide numerous resources for you to gain a better understanding.

I break down questions into step with you to help you gain understanding. Breaking concepts down into chunks and repeatedly practicing those chunks is one of my main methods! :)

I also teach all levels of Math up to and including Calculus 2.

I love seeing the understanding dawn on students' faces. I have been tutoring officially for a little under a year and the feeling never fades. I also enjoy hearing students say they understood the concepts in a test. It makes the work satisfactory :)

She was very informative and made sure that you were able to remember and understand the subject/ technique. Very work oriented but makes the bang worth your buck.

  • Zach

She was pretty good and always trying to make me understand every little thing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

- We figure out a goal. The goal doesn't need to be grades-based but we need a goal nonetheless

- We figure out weaknesses and strengths

- We create a plan together and if desired, a schedule to keep to that plan :)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was an informal tutor in high school, and currently tutor Pre-Calculus, Business Calculus, Calculus I and II in college.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes. $25/hr

How did you get started teaching?

In high school, people would come up to me and just ask for explanations of a concept. I realized that explaining things to people was fun and also benefitted me because it helped solidify knowledge.

When I got to college and needed to get jo, I decided why not tart tutoring again but this time, get paid.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with high schoolers of all grades and I am currently working with college freshmen and sophomores.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

In Tutoring: A student telling me that my teaching helped everything fall in place for her in class

In General: Making friends with a black lab on campus
