My name is Rachel and I'm a recent graduate from Trinity University with a double major in engineering and computer science! I'll be heading off to work with Cisco Systems in 2019 and in the meantime I'm working on getting some certifications and my language studies (German and Spanish).
From my first year at Trinity, I helped start and teach Trinity TECH camps, teaching computer science to middle-school aged girls as well as doing some peer-tutoring. Though my graduate-level studies are all in STEM, I graduated high school at Carnegie Vanguard in Houston with AP credits in english, economics, biology, and US government. Excepting niche subjects, I am very capable of researching and working with students on almost anything through a high school level.
Besides teaching at TECH camp, I have extensive experience with children from infancy to adulthood. I've also worked with people who have various special needs, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysnumeria, autism, ADHD, and anxiety disorders.
Please do contact me if you have any questions about my experience or capabilities!
