Hi! My name is Alli and I've been tutoring for the past 8 years. I enjoy working through math problems with students and helping them become more fluent in the things they are learning. I believe the best way to learn is by practicing, so I typically spend a lot of time working through practice problems with my students.

I am a 3rd grade teacher with a Masters in Education. I am best at finding the best way to educate a student. I know that everyone doesn’t learn the same way and am determined to figure out which way works for you or your student!

I am a 4 grade Math teacher currently but I have also taught 1-5 and HS Spanish so I can assist you with your Math homework, assignments or tests. I can also assist you with Spanish!

I graduated from Houston Baptist University in 2019. From 2020-mid 2023 I was a molecular geneticist and a research assistant. I now teach 8th grade Biotechnology at a STEM middle School that is partnered with Baylor College of Medicine. I like to keep my teaching fun and relevant. I make sure to scaffold lessons and get to know each student’s individual learning style so I can incorporate different techniques and to achieve maximum comprehension.
