Not only was I a Software Engineering Instructor and a math teacher, I have worked as an Engineer for over 10 years, so I am able to relate math to the real world. When I am working with younger clients or on more basic topics, I prefer to take a hands-on approach in reinforcing topics. My favorite part of tutoring is making math and science subjects relatable. For the most part, struggles with these topics come from them being explained using a way of thinking that the student doesn't relate to.
