I obtained my goal of a M.S. in Psychology in 2018. Prior to that, I spent 8 years teaching middle school science to at-risk youth. I also received my ELL certification. This required me to come up with different methods of teaching as many of my students were on 4th grade reading levels. I can tutor students who struggle in Middle School science. I am a highly efficient, persuasive and competent tutor in high school and college level subjects. I have tutored Math and Physics as well as Writing at the high school and college level. I received a 2300 SAT score after many months of consistent effort and preparation. I also have supported students as a Math and Physics tutor for 12-13 months at the Center for Academic Progress and Support at University of New Mexico.

As a current college senior with 5+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.
