I am a chemical engineer who has tutored peers and underclassmen throughout high school and college. I have worked with age groups as young as elementary and as mature as seniors pursuing their bachelor degree.
I love helping students become excited and confident about the material they are learning and tailoring to their type of learning style. I find great joy in helping people overcome challenges.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try my best to adapt my teaching to the student's learning style. I also try to help them identify patterns and recognize clues to make the problems easier. Sometimes I also provide practice problems for the next session to see where there might still be knowledge gaps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored in some capacity for 10 years. I have a B.S. in chemical engineering. I have taught undergraduate workshops in Calculus I & II, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. I also tutor in Algebra.
How did you get started teaching?
I enjoy helping people feel confident in subjects that initially made them feel defeated.
