About
I am a college student currently doing my undergraduate in Biology and eager in teaching people certain subjects they struggle with. I was a student-athlete for all 4 years of high school and did advanced classes and that helped me with understanding ways to study efficiently. I have tutored kids as a way to spread knowledge in an understanding method. Most tutors can be boring and hard to understand due to their teaching methods. I have gone to school all around the US and have learned what works well when dealing with a difficult topic. It's all about the comfortability of the student and how I can help them as significantly as possible. I have brought up failing students to average and above-average students and that's what it's all about.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I understand their initial progress on a particular subject and go from their. Starting with what they know and how we can further expand on that is the best way for the student to have a foundation in what they are learning. In cases where its a completely new subject we will learn the topic as we develop application skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Southlake Carroll student and that helps a lot when talking about curriculum and difficulty of the syllabus. It's not an easy school and is well known for its education. I have learned many subjects that have now taken me to my undergraduate studies as a Biology major.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have a base price of 30/hr. If its a subject that doesn't require as much work on my end I will never try to raise the base price. If the subject cuts into my personal and college study time I will raise the price but never drastically.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with mostly Highschool and middle school students. It's always a good experience and is very easy to deliver the needs of their subjects in an understanding method.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be clear in what you need help with and we can work on it together. It's important that we cover the subject in a whole but it's very important that we apply it to your specific application. FOR EXAMPLE: homework, school projects etc.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Any specific questions on the topic and how much knowledge they already have on the topic before we start tutoring.
