3rd Year Medical Student with 10+ year SAT and ACT tutoring experience. Previous instructor at Method Test Prep in NY for 3 years, Khans Turotial for 4 years, independently as Mahfuz Test Prep for 3 years and I've taught in 7 different high schools in Long Island, New York. Many of my 1 on 1 students have increased in average 160-220 points on SAT and 3-5 points on ACT. I am very involved in tracking my students growth and having parental involvement in the process. Due to being a full time student, I have limited weeknight and weekend ability. Session minimums are 1 hour at my house or 1.5 hours if I commute to you. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Diagnostic test proctored at home.
Analysis of weak points. Constructing a learning plan.
Weekly instruction and review. Weekly assignments from Offical SAT and ACT workbook. Parents are encouraged to monitor the completion of assignments. Online assessment tool to track progress and tackle problem areas.
Routine proctored practice tests to monitor improvement and simulate real testing experience.
